Do You Have Common Sense?

A Difficult Question to Answer

Common sense – Sound judgment not based on specialized knowledge (meaning from the dictionary)

My recent experiences tell me that people lack common sense. People can advise or shoot questions at the other person, and also verify if they are correct. Yet, why don’t they think before asking a question, which literally reflects their ignorance or shows they lack common sense?

I remember my mother telling me as a kid that it is important to have common sense and that I need to pray to God to have common sense. She always insisted that sharp common sense would help us make the correct decision at the proper time. If your common sense works correctly, then things will also click perfectly.

A lack of common sense will not only affect you, but it will affect other people around you also. Unknowingly, you can stand in their way and be a hurdle to their growth. Only common sense can teach you to think and judge in the right way. In today’s tug-of-war for existence, lacking common sense can aggravate your problems. You may not be able to realize the dimension of the existing problem. It can also prevent you from taking preventive steps to avoid unnecessary problems.

COMMON SENSE – The two ‘M’ in the word ‘common sense’ tell me to be ‘More Mindful’ and be alert always. Yet, I get into trouble because people around me lack common sense.

Everyone must learn to identify where things go wrong and how wrong things can be rectified. I remember a dialogue from a film that tells that if a man can even do wrong things in the right way, he can achieve anything. I feel it is true. Do you agree with me?
